The Problem We Saw

Our Founder, TNT713, has been playing Madden since Sega Genesis — back when we learned football first, then picked up the controller. But when online play arrived, everything changed. Suddenly, we weren’t just playing friends anymore — we were playing the world.

And the world was whooping us.

When we first jumped into online games, we lost twelve straight. Not close losses — real beatdowns. The worst part wasn’t the losing — it was realizing there was nowhere to get help. No Madden websites. No YouTube breakdowns. No strategy guides. Nothing. The first Madden communities — MaddenOnline.US and VGSports.com — didn’t even exist yet. If you didn’t understand football concepts, you were just stuck.

The moment was calling. We weren’t struggling because we were bad Madden players, we struggled because we needed to know more football.

MaddenUniversity was created for just that.

We teach Madden the way football is supposed to be learned: concepts first, plays second — understanding before memorization — football before Madden.

The Mission

Our mission is simple: help players learn Madden the way football is meant to be learned. Not through gimmicks. Not through shortcuts. Not through “just run this play.” But through real concepts, structured preparation, and repeatable habits that build confidence and long-term skill.

What Makes MaddenUniversity Different

MaddenUniversity isn’t just another strategy site. It’s a teaching system built on football principles, structured preparation, and a community-driven approach to learning.  Our strategy tips come directly from the MaddenUniversity community, shaped over the years by players like Booker T, WFColonel56, JerseyJayz, DaMasta, BlondeTom2000, TNT713, and many others who’ve shared their knowledge and helped build the foundation of what we teach today.

• Football-first teaching: Concepts that work across playbooks, metas, and Madden versions.
• Structured tools: Callsheets, Gameplan Builder, scouting templates, and more.
• Clear learning paths: Beginner, Competitive, and Coach-focused content.
• Community support: A place where players help each other grow.
• Long-term improvement: Skills that last, not gimmicks that fade.
