Is your #1 receiver locked down by a shutdown corner? Here's a quick easy way to get him open.
Most teams don't have two great corners. The best cornerback lines up on the right side of the field lined up against the #1 receiver.
At the play call screen, move the right stick left/right to change your personnel package until it reads "WR Swap." Your #1 and #2 receivers will switch sides, placing your best receiver up on the left side of the field. He'll be covered by your opponent's second best corner. Your receiver should have success against the 2nd best CB with almost any route. Having a speedy wide receiver running a fly/steak route against your opponents second best CB is a recipe for a big play or TD on most plays.
When in doubt, punt!
